Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for paid Slide Practice subscriptions, including a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment, and for usage charges such as Auto Join recording, extra upload recaps, and Practice Growth advertising. It forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service (in particular "Billing, taxes, renewal, referral credit, price changes, cancellation, and refunds") and our Privacy Policy. Slide Practice is operated by Vikrant Singh, a sole proprietor based in Manila, Philippines, trading as "Slide Practice" ("Slide Practice", "we", "us", "our").

1. Cancel anytime

You can cancel your paid subscription at any time, with no cancellation fee. You can cancel from your account settings or by emailing billings@slidepractice.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep access to your paid features until that period ends, and your subscription does not renew for the next period.

2. 14-day money-back guarantee

Try any paid plan, refunded in full within 14 days

If Slide Practice is not the right home for your practice, email billings@slidepractice.com within 14 days of your first paid subscription payment and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to give a reason, and there are no forms to fill in.

Your free trial is free. Every new practitioner starts with a 7-day Pro trial and no payment card is required, so nothing is charged during the trial and there is nothing to refund. When the trial ends there is no automatic charge; your access pauses until you choose a paid plan. The 14-day money-back guarantee above then applies to your first paid subscription payment.

This is a goodwill guarantee that applies once, to your first subscription payment, and it is separate from and in addition to the mandatory consumer rights described in "Your mandatory consumer rights" below. It covers your subscription fee. Pay as you go usage that you have already used, namely Auto Join recording and extra upload recaps, is consumed when used and is not included (see "Usage charges you have already incurred" below). The guarantee applies to your first payment rather than to later renewals. We offer this guarantee in good faith, and we may decline or reverse a refund where we reasonably believe a request is fraudulent or abusive, or where an account has breached our Terms of Service.

3. After the guarantee window, the current billing period is non refundable

What is and is not refundable

Outside the 14-day money-back guarantee above, and except where a refund is required by mandatory law or by the applicable Merchant of Record policy, fees for the current billing period are non refundable. When you cancel, you are not charged again, but we do not refund the period you are already in. We also do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, for unused recap allowances, for downgrades, or for periods in which your account stayed open but you did not use it.

This applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions. If you cancel an annual subscription partway through the year, you keep access until the end of the paid year, and the remaining months are not refunded except where the 14-day guarantee or mandatory law requires otherwise.

4. Usage charges you have already incurred

Some charges are pay as you go and are billed for usage that has already happened. These remain payable even if you cancel, and they are not refundable once incurred:

  • Auto Join recording, charged per recorded session. Auto Join is off by default and runs only when you enable it for a specific session, so each charge reflects a recording you chose to make.
  • Extra upload recaps beyond your plan's monthly allowance, charged per recap.

Because these charges are for usage you have already received, they are billed in arrears and are not reversed on cancellation. Current prices for Auto Join and extra recaps are shown on our pricing page.

5. Billing is handled by our Merchant of Record

Paid subscriptions are sold through Paddle. Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd) is our Merchant of Record: it is the seller of record for your subscription, collects your payment, and charges and remits any applicable sales tax or VAT. Any refund that is issued is processed through Paddle and is also subject to Paddle's own policies. Where Paddle's policy or your local consumer law gives you a refund right that is more generous than this policy, that right applies.

6. Errors and duplicate charges

If you believe you were charged in error, charged twice, or charged after a valid cancellation, contact us promptly at billings@slidepractice.com with your account email and the charge details. We will investigate in good faith and, where a charge was genuinely made in error, we will correct it or arrange a refund of the incorrect amount.

7. Your mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy removes or limits any refund or cancellation right that you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your own country or place of residence. For example, consumers in the European Union, the European Economic Area, and the United Kingdom may have statutory withdrawal or cooling off rights, and consumers elsewhere may have their own non waivable rights. Where such mandatory rights apply and conflict with this policy, those rights prevail.

8. Practice Growth (advertising) purchases

Practice Growth is an optional advertising service, and it is not built yet: no campaign can be requested, published or charged today, so no refund question under this section can arise until it opens. When it opens, a campaign has two amounts and you pay both to Slide. Your ad budget is collected by Slide and spent on Meta ad delivery (Facebook and Instagram) for your campaign, and a service fee of 25% of that budget, with a $7 minimum, covers building the advertisement, publishing it, and the click report. Both amounts are itemized before you pay, and nothing is taken until you confirm. If you cancel before the campaign publishes, nothing has been spent, and Slide refunds the whole amount: the budget and the fee together. Once a campaign publishes the fee has been earned and is not refundable, and budget already spent on delivery cannot be returned, because it has been paid to Meta for delivery that has happened. Any budget still unspent when the campaign ends or is stopped is refunded to you. Only identity-verified practitioners can advertise, and you must give a written advertising authorization covering the use of your name, photo, and profile content. We make no guarantee of reach or results, and we may decline any campaign. The full advertising terms are in "Practice Growth advertising" in our Terms of Service.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will revise the Last updated date at the top of this page and, for material changes, will give more prominent notice. Changes apply to billing periods that begin after the change takes effect.
