I am just starting out with only a few clients. Is Slide Practice too much for me?
No. Start on the free plan, take real bookings, and send recaps from day one. You move to a paid plan only when your client list grows, and the founding rate is there if you want to lock it in early.
How do I know Slide Practice will not shut down too?
Fair question, given how many coaching tools have. Slide Practice is founder-owned and bootstrapped, with no investors pushing for a sale or a sudden shutdown, and it is funded by subscriptions rather than runway. Most of all, there is no lock-in: you can export your clients and data at any time, so you are never trapped. More on our about page.
What does Auto-Join cost, and how does recording work?
Auto-Join is the option for Slide Practice to join your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams call and record it for you. It is pay-as-you-go at $1.99 per session, on every plan, charged only when you turn it on. It is off by default. Prefer to record yourself? Uploads are always included, up to your plan's monthly recap cap, and every session asks the client for consent before anything records.
Does Slide Practice collect payments from my clients?
Not at launch. You collect from your clients your own way, with whatever method you already use, and Slide Practice takes no cut. Built-in payments are on our roadmap. Today Slide Practice handles your scheduling, AI recaps, notes, client portal, and programs, and leaves the money side with you.
How many AI recaps do I get?
Starter includes 20 upload recaps a month, which suits part-time coaches. Full-time coaches should choose Pro, with 40 a month, or Max, with 75, or add Auto-Join sessions and extra recaps as needed. Extra upload recaps are $0.99 each. We do not offer unlimited recaps. See full pricing.
Do I need to be technical to set this up?
No. You set your availability, share one booking link, and you are running. There is no website to build and nothing to install.
Do my clients have to create an account or download an app?
No. Clients open their recaps and portal from a private link in their inbox, in any browser. There is no app to install and no password for them to manage.
If I switch to Slide Practice and it does not work out, can I take my clients and data with me?
Yes. Your clients and your data stay yours, and you can export everything at any time. Slide Practice is built for coaches who got burned when a platform shut down, so there is no lock-in.
Can I bring my existing clients and past sessions over from another tool?
Yes. We publish step-by-step switching guides, and for founding coaches we offer guided migration support: send us what you export and we import your clients, contact details, notes, and past bookings. See the switching guides.
How does the recording work, and do I see the recap before my client does?
Every session asks for the client's consent before anything records. Slide Practice drafts the summary and action items, then you review and edit them. Nothing reaches your client until you send it. See recording and consent.
How long does the founding rate last?
We want to be straight about this. It is a 12-month founding rate, not a lifetime one. The first 30 coaches get Pro at $19 a month for their first 12 months, then it moves to the standard $29 a month.
