About Slide Practice

Software built for the solo coach, not the next funding round

Slide Practice is coaching software made specifically for solo coaches and people running their first practice. It is built by one person, funded by the coaches who use it, and designed to stay small enough to last. This page explains who is behind it, how it makes money, and the honest answer to the question every coach should ask: how do I know you will still be here next year.

Why Slide Practice exists

Most coaching tools treat the solo coach as an afterthought. They are built for big teams and agencies, then trimmed down and handed to individuals as a lesser version. Others take a percentage of everything you earn, so the more your practice grows, the more they quietly cost you. And some simply shut down, get acquired, or pivot away, leaving coaches scrambling to move their clients and history somewhere new.

Slide Practice was built to be the opposite of that. It is made for one coach running their own practice, including coaches taking on their very first clients. The defaults are sensible, the pricing is plain, and nothing is designed to grow at your expense.

Who is behind it

Slide Practice is built and operated by Vikrant Singh, an independent developer based in Manila, Philippines. It is a one-person product. It is founder-owned and bootstrapped, with no outside investors and no board pushing for an exit.

That is a deliberate choice, not a temporary stage. Slide Practice is meant to be small, sustainable, and around for the long term. The goal is a steady product that serves a focused group of coaches well, not a company racing to get as big as possible as fast as possible.

How Slide Practice makes money

It is worth being plain about this, because how a tool earns is how it behaves.

Slide Practice charges coaches a simple monthly subscription. Slide Practice takes 0% of what you earn from your coaching, on every plan. Your client revenue is yours. The Free plan stays free by limiting how many sessions a month it covers, not by taking a cut. Subscription billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for your Slide Practice subscription.

Slide Practice is profitable by design rather than growth at all costs. There is no plan to sell your data, and selling data is not part of how this product makes money. The business model is straightforward: coaches pay a fair monthly price, and that pays for the product.

How do I know you will not shut down too?

The honest answer has two parts. First, Slide Practice is founder-owned and bootstrapped. There are no investors who can force a sale or a shutdown, and the product is funded by ongoing subscriptions rather than a pile of runway that eventually runs out. Second, and most important, there is no lock-in. You can export your clients and your data at any time, so you are never trapped here. This is a small independent product, and we will not pretend otherwise. Data portability, not a big company name, is the real guarantee. If Slide Practice ever stopped being the right tool for you, for any reason, you could take your information and go.

No lock-in, by design

Your clients and your records belong to you. Slide Practice is built so you can get your data out whenever you want, not just when something goes wrong. That keeps the relationship honest: Slide Practice has to keep earning your subscription, because you can always leave with everything you brought.

What is inside

Slide Practice handles booking, client records, session recaps drafted for you to review and send, and pay-as-you-go call recording when you choose to turn it on. You can see pricing for the full breakdown, or read how it works for the short version.

Where we are

Slide Practice is in early access and opens on June 21, 2026 (date subject to slight change). The first 30 founding coaches get Pro at $19 a month for their first 12 months, after which it converts to the standard $29 a month. It is a limited founding promotion, not a lifetime rate, and we would rather say that clearly than dress it up.
