Pricing confidence and the discovery call

Dana practiced naming her rate without flinching, and booked two discovery calls for next week.

Action items your client agreed to

  • Send the new rate to two leads
  • Run the discovery-call script
  • Hold the price on the next call
Goal: raise rates by 30%, on track Ready to send
Step 01

Run the session.

In person, or on a video call. Every session asks your client to agree on screen before anything records.

What the recorder does today

Either of you can withdraw consent at any time. A withdrawn consent stops the next session being processed.

  • Zoom and Google Meet. You paste the meeting link, and the recorder joins that call.
  • Or upload it yourself. Uploading a recording after the session works today, on every plan.
  • Meeting recorder sessions. Pro includes 30 a month and Max includes 100. Only past those, or on Starter, is it $1.99 a session.
  • Export everything, anytime. No lock-in.

Slide noticing a meeting on your calendar and joining by itself is not built: see the roadmap.

Then the write-up does itself.

  1. The draft, on its paper sheet.
    02 Slide writes it up

A recap in about a minute.

The recap, the action items, and the client follow-up. No blank document, no transcript to mine.

    Review, then send. Never before.
    03 You review and send

    Nothing leaves without you.

Slide never writes to a client on your behalf. Your name is on it, so you approve every word.

  3. The recent activity feed in Slide Practice
    Recent activity across your practice.
    04 The record builds itself

    Every session adds to it.

Action items and goals tracked across sessions, and your practice hours adding up on their own.

What this sample is

Labelled samples in the real output format: the recap, the goal it belongs to, the commitments, and the action items agreed to. Nothing leaves your browser, and nothing reaches a client until the practitioner presses send. No real client appears here.

In the box

One subscription, the whole loop.

AI recaps you review and send

The recap, the action items and the client follow-up, approved by you.

Booking with sliding-scale rates

Your own booking page and your own rates, sliding scale included. See a live page.

A private client portal

Recaps, action items and session history, in one place your client can always reach.

A credential hours log

ICF, NBHWC or your own. Slide adds up experience hours from recorded sessions and exports a clean log, never continuing education units. More for ICF coaches.

You keep 100% of what you earn

On every plan, always. Slide takes no commission, ever, and never sits between you and your client's payment.

Clients pay you directly at booking through your own PayPal or Stripe link.

What Slide is not

The money never touches Slide, Slide takes no commission, ever, and your processor's own card fees are theirs, not ours.

Slide is not a payment processor and not a marketplace. Consent, refunds and disputes stay between you and your client: a client can raise a refund request from their portal and you answer it, and Slide's own Refund Policy covers your subscription rather than your client's payment. Card payments taken by Slide itself are not built: where that stands is on the roadmap.

Outcomes

See what your sessions actually change.

Most tools store your sessions. Slide tracks what happens between them: each recap captures the commitments your client made and links them to a goal.

Commitments completed Labelled sample

11 of 14 across six weeks in the labelled sample. Every action item your client agreed to, carried forward until it is done.

Goal progress

Raise rates by 30%, session 1 to 4, up 24% so far. The difference between thinking it is going well and showing it.

Shared in the portal Client-visible

Your client sees the same record you do, so nobody has to remember what was agreed.

What is live today

Commitment tracking and the shared progress view are live today, as a by-product of sending recaps. Anything not built is described as not built on the roadmap.

The difference

Not another admin tool, and not a meeting notetaker.

Admin tools store your files. Notetakers hand you a transcript. Slide does both, and keeps the record.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do I see the recap before my client does?

Always. Slide drafts it, you review and edit, and nothing reaches your client until you send it.

How does consent work?

Every session asks your client to agree on screen before anything records, whether you record it yourself or let Slide join the call.

I am not a coach. Is Slide for me?

Yes. Coaches, consultants, tutors, trainers, nutritionists, mentors, and advisors. The after-session work is the same in every field.

Do the logged hours count towards continuing education?

No. Slide logs experience hours only, for ICF, NBHWC, or your own records. Continuing education units come from training, and Slide makes no CE or CEU claim.

Does Slide collect payments from my clients?

No. Slide never processes or holds the money. Clients pay you directly at booking through your own PayPal or Stripe link, and Slide shows the amount due, records what happened, reminds a client who has not paid, and sends the receipt once you confirm it arrived. The money never touches Slide, and Slide takes no commission, ever. Your processor's own card fees are theirs, not ours, and refunds and disputes stay between you and your client.
