Identity verification is free on every plan. When a practitioner passes it, an Identity verified badge appears next to their name in the directory and on their profile. That badge means a real human, using their real photo and their real working name. No AI-generated identities, no stock photos, no stand-ins. A practitioner without the badge has not completed the check yet.

What we confirm
- You are a real person.
- Your profile photo is genuinely you, not AI-generated, not a stock image, not someone else.
- Your display name is your real working name.
What is fine, and what is not
- Using AI to help write your bio or descriptions is fine. Writing help is welcome.
- An AI-generated or fake profile photo is not allowed.
- A false name or someone else's likeness is not allowed.

Set your profile photo
Add the photo clients will see. This is what we verify against.
Send a quick selfie
From your dashboard, send a clear selfie photo or a short selfie video saying your name and what you do. Upload it in the dashboard. Never send it by email: that is the only place we accept it.
We review by hand
A person on our team compares your selfie to your profile photo and checks your name. We usually respond within five business days.
Your badge goes live
Once approved, the Identity verified badge shows next to your name on your profile and in the directory. It shows only after the check passes. You do not need the badge to publish your booking page, take bookings, or appear in the directory; it is required only to be advertised by us.
We review your identity. We do not store face templates.
The selfie photo or video you send is used to verify you and nothing else. It is deleted immediately once a decision is made, whether we approve or reject. We keep only the outcome, the timestamps, and the reviewer's notes. We do not build or store a biometric face template, and we do not run automated face matching against other databases. A person reviews it. That is what "verified by our team" means. The privacy policy covers what we collect for identity review and how long we keep it.
What gets a profile removed.
A profile is removed from the directory, and its badge revoked, if we find the identity is not real: an AI-generated or fake photo, a false or borrowed name, or someone impersonating another person. Anyone can flag a profile with the "Report this profile" link on every profile page, and we review each report by hand. Repeated or serious violations end the account under the practitioner agreement.
Why this matters when you book.
When you see the Identity verified badge, you know a real person on our team confirmed this is a real practitioner using their real photo and name. If a profile has no badge, it has not passed the check. Reviews are held to the same standard: they come only from clients with a completed session. See how reviews work.
