Your ICF coaching hours, logged for you.
If you are working toward an ACC, PCC, or MCC, Slide adds up your coaching hours from the sessions you already record, and exports a clean log you can use for your application. The recap and follow up are written for you too.
Slide is an added listing, not a move. Keep your own website, socials, and booking tools, add Slide alongside them, list your own links on your profile, and export everything anytime. No exclusivity, ever.

The coaching is the easy part.
The problem
The coaching is the easy part. Logging the hours is the chore: a spreadsheet of dates, clients, durations, and paid or pro bono, kept by hand for years.
Miss a few entries and the running total stops being something you can trust. When you finally sit down to apply, you are reconstructing a year of sessions from your calendar and your memory.
What Slide does
Every session you record or upload adds to your hours automatically. You review and adjust, and export a clean log. Your recaps and client follow ups are written for you in the same place.
One running record, kept as you coach, not rebuilt the week before you apply.
Coach the way you already do. The log keeps itself.
Record or upload
Run the session in person or on Zoom, Meet, or Teams. Record it yourself, or let Slide join after your client agrees on screen. Past sessions can be uploaded too.
Review and adjust
Slide writes the recap and follow up, and adds the session duration to your hours. You confirm the time, mark it paid or pro bono, and fix anything that is off.
Export a clean log
Your hours add up across every client. When you are ready to apply, export an organised log to base your ICF self report on.
Hours by credential, counted as you go.
The ICF asks for a number of client coaching experience hours, logged by you, for each credential level. Slide keeps the running count so you always know where you stand. These figures change over time, so confirm the current requirements before you apply.
An entry level credential. The hours you log in Slide count toward this running total.
A larger record over more clients. Slide keeps it organised from your first session on.
Years of work. A log that builds itself is the difference between ready and rebuilding.
These thresholds are coaching experience hours that you log yourself, and they are only part of each credential's requirements. The ICF updates its requirements from time to time. Always verify the current rules on the ICF website before you apply.
One thing Slide does not do
Slide logs your coaching experience hours. It does not award or track continuing education (CCE) units, which come from training, not sessions. Verify the current ICF requirements before you apply.
We would rather be clear about this now than have you discover it later. If a tool tells you it handles your whole credential, read the fine print.
The same place writes the recap and the follow up.
The hours log is a byproduct of work you are already doing. While Slide counts your time, it also drafts the coaching recap, pulls out the action items your client agreed to, and writes the follow up email, in about a minute. You read it, change a line, and send.
So you are not bolting an hours tracker onto your practice. You are coaching, and the credential record builds itself in the background.
Everything from your sessions in one place: recaps, goals, documents, and your next session.

Straight answers about the hours log.
Does Slide earn my CCE units?
No. Slide logs your coaching experience hours from the sessions you record. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) units come from approved training, not from coaching sessions, so Slide does not award or track them. Always check the current ICF requirements before you apply.
How does Slide count my coaching hours?
Every session you record or upload adds its duration to your running hours. You review each entry, mark it paid or pro bono, adjust anything that is off, and then export a clean log. You stay in control of the final number.
Will the ICF accept a log from Slide?
The ICF asks you to self report your client coaching hours. Slide gives you an organised, exportable record to base that report on. It is your responsibility to confirm the current ICF requirements and submit an accurate log. See the requirements summary above and verify on the ICF website.
Can I add sessions I coached before joining Slide?
Yes. You can upload past recordings, and founding practitioners get guided help moving in from an old tool. See the switching guides for the details.
