Questions

Straight answers.

I am not a coach. Is Slide for me?

Yes. Slide works for anyone who guides people one to one: coaches, consultants, tutors, trainers, nutritionists, mentors, advisors. The after-session work is the same in every field. You pick your field at signup and Slide speaks its language. Add your practiceWho it's for.

What does Slide do for my specific field?

It tailors the recap template, the terminology (client, student, or member), and the progress record to your field: a parent-ready report for tutors, adherence and progression for trainers, a decisions log for consultants. Choose Something else and Slide uses a clean generic setup that still does the whole job.

Do I see the recap before my client does, and how does consent work?

Every session asks the client to consent before anything records. Slide drafts the recap and action items, you review and edit, and nothing reaches your client until you send it.

Where do my recordings live, and who can access them?

Encrypted and stored in Tokyo, backed up in Singapore. Only you and the systems that draft your recap can read them, never advertisers or other practitioners. Audio auto-deletes after 30 days, and you can delete any recording yourself. Full detail on our security page.

Is this just an AI notetaker?

No. A notetaker gives you a transcript. Slide writes the session recap and the client follow up, delivers them to a private client portal, and tracks the action items and goals across sessions. The notes are the start, not the product.

What if the recap gets something wrong?

You are the editor. Slide drafts the recap, the action items, and the follow up, then waits for you. You fix any line before it goes out, and your client only ever sees what you approve and send.

Does Slide collect payments from my clients?

No. Slide never processes or holds the money. Clients pay you directly at booking through your own PayPal or Stripe link, and Slide shows the amount due, records what happened, reminds a client who has not paid, and sends the receipt once you confirm it arrived. The money never touches Slide, and Slide takes no commission, ever. Your processor's own card fees are theirs, not ours, and refunds and disputes stay between you and your client. See how getting paid works.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every new practitioner gets a 7-day Pro trial, no card, with 5 AI recaps included and every other Pro feature open. At the end there is no automatic charge; you pick a plan to continue.

Can I bring my existing clients and past sessions?

Yes. We publish step by step switching guides, and founding practitioners get guided migration. See the switching guides.

If it does not work out, can I leave with my data?

Yes. Your clients and data stay yours and you can export everything at any time. No lock in.

Do I have to move my whole practice to Slide?

No. Slide is an added listing, never a commitment. Keep your own website, socials, Calendly, marketplace listings, and payment methods. Add Slide alongside what you already use, and export everything anytime. No exclusivity, ever.

How do I know a practitioner is a real person?

Look for the Identity verified badge in the directory. Verification is free on every plan, and the badge means our team confirmed a real person, real photo, real name, no AI-generated identities. A practitioner without the badge has not completed the check yet. You can report any profile in one click. See how verification works.

I am working toward an ICF credential. How does the hours log help?

Slide adds up your coaching hours from your recorded sessions and exports a clean log for your application. It does not generate continuing education units; those come from training. See the ICF page.

How does the meeting recorder work?

The meeting recorder is how Slide joins a video call and records it for you. You paste the meeting link, the recorder joins that Zoom or Google Meet call, and afterwards the transcript and the drafted recap are waiting for you, the same recap you would get from a recording you uploaded yourself. It is off by default: nothing joins a call unless you send it there, and every session asks your client for consent before anything records. Having Slide notice a meeting on your calendar and send the recorder by itself is not built; see the roadmap. Uploading a recording works today on every plan, and what each plan includes is on the pricing page. See recording and consent.

How many AI recaps do I get?

Each recap is a structured session summary, the action items your client agreed to, and a ready follow-up, drafted for you to review and send. Starter includes 20 a month. Pro includes 200 and Max includes 500, which a full-time practice does not reach. One recap covers a session up to 90 minutes. A longer recording counts as one recap for each 90 minutes. Extra recaps beyond a cap are $0.99 each on paid plans, bought in packs of 5 or 20.

Is annual billing cheaper?

Yes. Annual billing works out to two months free, about 17% off the monthly price. You can switch between monthly and annual on the pricing page.

How do referral rewards work?

They do not, yet. Referral rewards are not built, so no reward can be earned and no link pays anything out. The shape we intend, a free week of Pro when someone joins through your link and another when they subscribe, is written down on the roadmap and nowhere else.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Every paid plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first subscription payment. Email billings@slidepractice.com within 14 days of that payment and we refund it in full, no reason needed. After that, cancel anytime; the current billing period is non refundable, and usage you have already run, such as meeting recorder sessions, remains payable. Full detail in our Refund Policy.

Is tax included in the price?

No. Prices exclude VAT or sales tax, which is calculated at checkout based on your location. Paddle is our merchant of record, so it works out what is due where you are, adds it on top of the plan price, and shows you the full total before you pay. Your receipt itemises the tax separately.

What will the charge look like on my card statement?

Charges appear under Paddle rather than Slide: the descriptor starts with PADDLE.NET and names Slide Practice after it. Paddle is our payments provider and the merchant of record, so their name is the one your bank shows, not ours. If you do not recognise a charge, email billings@slidepractice.com before you dispute it and we will sort it out the same day.

What does Slide Growth actually run?

Nothing yet. Practice Growth is not built, so no campaign can be requested, published or charged. When it opens, Slide builds the ad from your profile with your approval and publishes it from the Slide Practice page. Your budget goes to Meta ad delivery, and Slide adds a service fee of 25% of budget with a $7 minimum, itemized before you pay. Read how Practice Growth will work, or see where it stands on the roadmap.

Do I have to advertise to be listed?

No. Advertising is a separate, opt-in service, and a public profile page is free on every plan with no subscription needed. The directory listing itself is part of Pro and Max.

Does Slide guarantee results from an ad?

No, and it never will. Practice Growth is not built yet, so there is nothing to guarantee today. When it opens, a person publishes each campaign, every line is itemized before you pay, and if you cancel before publish the whole amount comes back because nothing has been spent.
