New to running a practice

Starting your practice? Begin here.

You do not need five tools and a website to take your first client. Whether you coach, consult, tutor, train, or advise on nutrition, Slide Practice gives you a public profile, a directory listing, a booking link, and a client portal. The listing is free, clients pay you directly, and you keep 100% of what you earn.

Setting up takes about five minutes. Nothing here asks you to give up your own site, your socials, or your calendar.

What you get on day one

A free listing and a public profile

A page at slidepractice.com/p/your-handle, plus a listing in the directory where clients can find you. The listing is free and there is no commission on what you earn.

Free identity verification

A real person on our team checks that you are a real person. Free on every plan, and clients can filter for it. How verification works.

Smart booking

One link. Clients book and reschedule around your real availability, and they pay you directly, your own way.

Sliding scale pricing

Offer full, reduced, and community rates so clients pick what they can afford.

Private client portal

Each client gets a space for recaps, notes, documents, and next steps.

A 7-day Pro trial

Session recaps written for you, free for seven days, no card. There is no automatic charge at the end; you pick a plan to continue.

Your first five minutes, step by step

This is the actual sign-up flow, in order. Nothing is permanent: everything below is editable afterwards.

  1. Claim your page. Your name, a real photo, what your practice is (coaching, nutrition and wellness, personal training, tutoring, consulting, or something else), an optional specialty, and one line about who you help. You also pick your page address, slidepractice.com/p/your-handle.
  2. Set your rate. One session, one price, and a session length. Slide uses that number to suggest a reduced rate and a community rate as well, and you can change all three later.
  3. See your page, then publish it. You get a preview of exactly what a client sees. Publishing puts you in the directory and turns your booking page on, with weekday hours of 9 to 5 in your timezone until you change them.
  4. Get verified. Free, and it is what the badge means. You can start it straight from the last step of sign-up, or later from your dashboard settings.
  5. Turn on recaps. Record a session, Slide writes the recap, the action items, and the client follow-up, and you edit and approve it before your client ever sees it. Your client is asked to consent before anything records.

Then you pick a plan. That is the whole thing.

Frequently asked questions

I am brand new. How do I start?

Every new practitioner starts with a 7-day Pro trial, no card required, and session recaps are included during it, so you can run real sessions and read the write ups before you choose a plan. At the end there is no automatic charge: your access pauses until you pick Starter, Pro, or Max. You keep 100% of what you earn on every plan.

Is the listing really free?

Yes. The listing, the public profile, and identity verification are all free, and Slide takes no commission, ever. Clients pay you directly, your own way, and Slide never handles your clients' payment details. You only pay for a plan when you want the session recaps. Add your practice.

How do I get my first clients?

Two ways. Your listing appears in the directory, where people looking for a practitioner can find you and book. And you can share your one booking link anywhere: your bio, a DM, an email. Either way clients pick a time, book, and land in your portal. No website required, though you are welcome to keep the one you have.

What if I do not know what to charge?

Use sliding scale pricing. Set your full rate and Slide suggests a reduced rate and a community rate from it, so clients pick what they can afford. It lowers the awkwardness of pricing when you are new, and you can change all three at any time.

When do session recaps kick in?

They are included in your 7-day Pro trial, then on Starter ($14.99 a month) and up. Starter includes 20 recaps a month, with extras at $0.99 each; on Pro ($29.99) and Max ($49.99) the recap cap is lifted so a full-time practice never hits it. Today you get a recap by uploading a session recording, which works on every plan. Auto-Join, where Slide joins your Zoom, Meet, or Teams call and records it for you, opens shortly: it will be included each month on Pro (30 sessions) and Max (100 sessions), then $1.99 a session, and $1.99 a session on Starter.
