How do clients book me?

On a page of your own that you publish yourself, at a link you can put in a bio, an email or a poster. It shows your real availability, so a visitor picks a time that exists rather than proposing one and waiting.

Where the page lives

Your booking page is at app.slidepractice.com/book/ followed by the handle you choose. You set the handle yourself on the page preview screen, and it is worth choosing once and leaving alone: change it later and any link you have already shared stops working.

Preview it from your dashboard whenever you like, exactly as a stranger sees it, then press Publish. Until you do, clients cannot book. You need at least one session type and a rate before publishing is worth anything, because those are the two things a visitor is choosing between.

What you set first

  • Session types. A service you offer, with a length: a sixty minute session, a ninety minute deep dive. You can list several and the visitor picks.
  • A free intro call, if you want one. It is a session type with no rate on it, so it books without any money step at all.
  • Your rates. One, or the three-rate setup if you offer a reduced or scholarship rate.
  • Your hours. The weekly pattern, plus any exceptions for a week you are away.
  • Your booking rules. How much notice you need before a session, and how far ahead somebody may book. Both are yours to set.

What a visitor does

They pick a session type, pick a time from the slots that are genuinely free, pick a rate if you offer more than one, enter their email and confirm. Times are shown in your practice's timezone, and they can switch the view to their own so nobody books three in the morning by accident.

The booking arrives as a request. It lands on your bookings page straight away, and your client gets a confirmation email with the session details and a calendar file attached. When you confirm it, they get a second email saying so.

Then what?

If there is an amount due, the page they land on after booking is where they pay you, using whichever of your own payment methods you have set up. Slide is never in the middle of that.

After the session, the write-up you send them carries a private link to their portal, and from that point on everything you send lands in one place they already know how to open.

You do not have to wait for somebody to find your page. You can invite clients by email from your client settings, or share your join link so a client can ask for their own access.

Being found

Publishing a public profile is included on every plan. A listing in the Find directory is included on Pro and Max, and identity verification is free too. The badge is what a stranger looks for before they book somebody they have never met.
