Twelve questions, answered plainly.
These are the questions practitioners actually ask in the first month: what records, what the client sees, how they get in, how you get paid, and how to leave with everything. Each answer is short and says what the product does today rather than what it will do.

Signed in already? The product carries its own help centre at app.slidepractice.com/help, with the screens named as you see them. Nothing here needs an account.
Recording a session
- How do I record a session on my phone? There is nothing to install. You record with the app your phone already has, then upload the file.
- What files can I upload, and how long does it take?Which formats go in, what you choose on the way, and what the screen does while it works.
- What does my client see, and when? The consent page they read, the button they press, and what they can withdraw afterwards.
- What happens when my client is a child? The guardian is the person you set up as the client, and everything else follows the client record.
The write-up and your client
- How do I change a write-up before it goes? You edit the draft, you can post yourself a test copy, and nothing goes out until you press send.
- What does my client get, and how do they get in?A private page with their write-ups, sessions, next steps and progress. No account, no password.
- How do clients book me?Your public page, what a visitor does on it, and what lands in your dashboard afterwards.
Money
- How do I get paid, and what does Slide take?Your client pays you directly. Slide takes no commission, ever, and is never in the payment path.
- What happens when my trial ends?Card payments are not live yet, so nothing expires and nothing is locked. Here is exactly what that means.
- What is Practice Growth, and what can I do with it today? You can build, preview and request a campaign. A person reviews every request, and nothing publishes yet.
Three quick ones.
Does anything record on its own?
No. Nothing records unless you start it for a particular session, and there is no background listening. The meeting recorder that would join a video call for you is not live yet and has never joined a call. What works today is bringing the recording yourself, on every plan. How recording consent works.
Does Slide ever write to my client for me?
No. Slide drafts the write-up and then waits. You read it, change what is wrong, and press send, and your client only ever sees what you approved. There is no automatic send and there never will be. How editing and sending works.
Does Slide take a cut of what my clients pay me?
No. You keep 100% of what you earn. Slide takes no commission, ever, and never processes payments between you and your client. The only thing Slide charges you for is your own plan. How getting paid works.
