How do I get paid, and what does Slide take?

Your client pays you, directly, the way you already arrange it. You keep 100% of what you earn. Slide takes no commission, ever, and never processes the money between you.

The money never touches Slide

This is not a policy that could change next quarter; it is how the product is built. Slide does not hold, route or split a client payment, and it does not stand behind one. What it does is know the amount, show your client how to pay you, record what happened, and chase a client who has not paid yet.

That means there is no payout, no waiting period, and nothing to reconcile between two balances. A client pays you on Tuesday and it is in your account on Tuesday, on whatever terms your own payment method gives you.

Where it happens

On the page a client lands on after booking. It shows the amount due and the ways you accept money: your own PayPal link, your own Stripe payment link, GCash, or instructions you have written yourself. The same page is reachable from their email, so a client who closed the tab can come back to it.

They can also say they will pay you at the session, if you allow that, which is what most in-person practices actually do.

Who says it arrived

The client marks that they have paid, and you confirm when it lands. Until you confirm, the booking shows as marked rather than paid, so a mistaken tap on their side never becomes a paid session on yours. Once you confirm, Slide records it and the receipt goes out.

Refunds and disputes

Yours, both of them. Because the client paid you directly, you refund them directly, by the same method they used. Slide records the refund against the booking so your own history is straight, and it takes no part in the argument, because it was never in the middle of the transaction.

So what does Slide charge?

Your own plan, and nothing else. There is no commission on a booking, no platform fee, and no percentage of a session, on any plan. If you later choose to advertise, that is a separate service you pay for on its own terms.

Paid plans open when card payments go live. Your trial keeps going at no charge until then.

One thing to tell clients: Slide never asks a client to pay Slide for a session. If anyone claiming to be Slide does, it is not us. The page for clients says so in their words.
