What happens when my trial ends?
Today, nothing. Card payments are not live yet, so there is no charge to take and no reason to take anything away from you.
The one sentence
Paid plans open when card payments go live. Your trial keeps going at no charge until then.
That is not a gesture. Nothing expires, nothing downgrades, no account is locked, no feature is switched off, and no email goes out telling you the trial has run out. A product that ends a trial and then hands you a checkout that cannot work has not asked you to pay; it has taken your tool away and blamed you for it, so this one does not do that.
What the trial is
Every new practitioner starts on a 7-day Pro trial with no card, with 5 AI write-ups included and every other Pro feature open. You never enter card details to start it, because there is nowhere to enter them.
What the plans will be
$14.99 a month on Starter, $29.99 on Pro, $49.99 on Max. Starter includes 20 write-ups a month, Pro 200 and Max 500. The first 30 founding practitioners get Pro at $19 a month for 12 months, then $29.99.
There is no free plan. There is the trial, then one of those three. Saying so plainly is fairer than a free tier that turns out to be a demo.
What will happen when paid plans open
The normal behaviour resumes: at the end of a trial you pick a plan to keep drafting new write-ups. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of a trial, because there is no card on file to charge.
Two things stay true whatever the state of an account, and they are written into how entitlements are decided rather than into a support policy. Reading everything you have already made keeps working. So does exporting it. Data is never deleted for non-payment and never held back to make you pay.
Your clients are not affected by any of this. Their portal keeps opening and the write-ups you have already sent stay where they are.
Where to check
Your own billing screen in the dashboard shows the state of your account. If it ever says something this page does not, believe the dashboard and write to us, because the two are supposed to agree.
