Slide Practice against ABC Trainerize.
ABC Trainerize programmes workouts, nutrition and habits into an app your client uses daily, priced by active client count. Slide Practice writes the record of the session you ran: weights, sets, cues and what is next, at one flat price.
Slide Practice wrote this page, and we make one of the two products in it, so read it the way you would read any comparison written by a competitor and check the claims yourself. Everything said here about another product was read off that product's own public pages as of September 2026. No competitor's exact price appears anywhere on this site, because prices change and a stale number is worse than none.
01What each one is for
Two products, two jobs, stated plainly.
Slide Practice
In person training where the value is the hour on the floor and the client cannot remember, a week later, what they actually lifted.
How it is priced A flat monthly price per practitioner, with two agency plans above it billed once for the whole team. The cost does not move with how many clients you have or how much audio you put through it.
ABC Trainerize
A trainer or gym delivering programmed workouts, nutrition and habit tracking through an app the client uses every day.
How it is priced Tiered monthly plans by number of active clients, with separate club and enterprise pricing, so the cost moves with how many people you are training.
A programming tool and a record are not the same thing and most trainers eventually want both. Trainerize tells a client what to do on Tuesday. What it does not do is capture what actually happened in the Monday session, in the trainer's own words, including the cue that finally worked and the thing the client said about their knee.
02Where Slide Practice wins
Three things Slide Practice does better.
- It captures the session that happened rather than the programme that was planned, which are different on about a third of sessions.
- It writes the cue that finally worked and the thing the client said, in the trainer's own words, which a programming app has no field for.
- Flat pricing per trainer, so a trainer at a full roster is not paying by the head.
03Where ABC Trainerize wins
Three things ABC Trainerize does better.
- Programme delivery. A workout builder, nutrition and habit tracking are the product, and Slide Practice writes about training rather than prescribing it.
- A custom branded app on the higher plans puts the trainer's name on the client's phone, which is a level of presence a report cannot buy.
- It is built for clubs as well as individuals, so a studio with twelve trainers is a supported shape rather than an improvised one.
04Do not choose Slide Practice if
The cases where this product is the wrong answer.
Do not choose Slide Practice if you need to build and deliver workout programmes, track nutrition, or put a branded app on a client's phone. It does none of those and is not a training platform.
05The short answer
If you only read one paragraph, read this one.
Online programming with clients you rarely see in person: Trainerize, clearly. In person sessions where the value is the hour and the client cannot remember the numbers a week later: Slide Practice, and the flat price is easier at a full book.
